WILD ROSE RANCH
Here at the ranch we are proud to be a small boutique breeder of exceptional reining prospects. We focus on quality, striving to develop nationally competitive prospects. Produced out of royally bred mares, crossed on what we believe to be the best nic on each mare.
Our goal is to develop an attractive, balanced, athletic horse, successful and long lived in reining competitions. The advantage of being a privately owned and operated ranch that it affords us the opportunity to have family (hands on) all aspects of raising these special prospects.
From researching the magic cross, working with the reproductive vet, conditioning and fitting, to the all night foal watch vigils viewed from our phones 24/7. This allows us from the time they hit the ground, the unique insight as to the character and potential of each of the 12 to 15 foals we raise each year. We know our prospects, our mares have produced successful, competitive reiners in multiple countries such as Poland, Holland, Germany, Mexico, Canada and numerous U.S. states.
Wild Rose Ranch is a beautiful private facility, sitting on 700 acres in North Texas which was once part of the famed Moncrief Ranch. A working ranch, which also runs approximately 100 commercial cows and calves, it boasts a beautiful bass lake, deer, boar, and duck hunting with miles of riding trails. Texas at its best! Located in Aledo/Weatherford just 20 minutes from downtown Fort Worth and the famous Will Rogers Coliseum and Stockyards… Give us a call if you are looking for that special prospect!
